A clean space makes the day easier. Hands on Duty cleans homes, offices and shops in Boston, MA. Pick a one time clean or a regular schedule, and we will fit it to your space.
Cleaning is one of those jobs that always lands at the bottom of the list. Hands on Duty takes it off yours. We clean homes, apartments, offices and shops across Boston, MA, and we use eco-friendly products.
Some people need a deep clean once. Others want a regular visit every week or two. Either way is fine. Tell us about your space and we will build a plan around it.
Our cleaners are background checked and we respect your time and privacy. We show up when we say we will and leave the place the way you would want to find it.
Here is what we can help with.
A home gets lived in every day, so we focus on the places people use most. Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas all get the attention they need.
We work in single family homes, condos and apartment buildings. Landlords and property managers can book us for unit turnovers between tenants. One unit or several is fine.
A tidy workplace helps your staff and your customers. We clean offices, shops and common areas on a schedule that suits your business.
Tell us how often you need us and which areas matter most. We will plan the visits around your day, so the cleaning does not get in the way of the work.
Boston weather is hard on floors. Winter brings salt, slush and grit indoors. Spring and summer bring open windows and dust. A regular clean keeps all of that from building up.
Many Boston leases turn over around the same time of year, so move out cleaning gets busy. If you manage rentals, it helps to book early.
Cleaning also pairs well with repair work. Drywall, painting and remodeling leave dust behind. We have a cleaning team in house, so the repair and the cleanup can be handled together.
You get one team for cleaning, repairs and upkeep. Our pricing is clear and our cleaners are background checked. We use eco friendly products and we keep the schedule flexible. If your property needs a repair after the clean, you do not have to look for another company.
Cleaning goes well with the rest of your property care. Here is what else we do.
A repaired wall needs a good finish. We prime and paint patched walls and ceilings so the repair blends in.

I do not give out 5 stars in my feedback assessments generally. But Hands on Duty Inc. is an exception. Here's why. My husband and I moved to our home quite recently. In a few short weeks our son and his fiance would like to have an 80 person engagement party in our home. There were a number of projects that needed attention, carpentry, plumbing, lighting etc. We interviewed several companies. The Hands on team stood out among all those we spoke to and interviewed. Even in our walk through the impressive breadth and depth of their skills was evident in their in-the-moment problem solving. When we checked their references, all of the contacts called back immediately. Each reference was a multi-unit dwelling owner and they all spoke glowingly about how much they can rely on and can trust the Hands on team staying with them for many years because of their skill and reliability. When it came to the work itself, the team arrived precisely on time. They communicated thoughtfully and reasonably about what they were doing and why. And, they noticed and shared a thing or two that we had overlooked. One had to do with the HVAC, which, though vital and evident, and having been through two inspections, had not been caught other HVAC, "experts". Their attention to detail was so impressive. They did not leave (and came back ) until the job was done. Hands on Duty treated our house with great care as if it were their own home that they were working on. Since they have worked with us, everything works as it should and better still! Without hesitation, my husband and I recommend Hands on Duty. They have earned our high regard for their skill, workmanship, and warm kindliness.Posted on Google![]()

Dilson and co did a great job with finishing up our condo renovation. After previous contractors botched a number of important details and dragged out the project for months, Hands on Duty came in and immediately set things right. They handled paint touch ups, shoe trim installation, wall repair, crown molding, caulking, shelves, and more. They were professional, knowledgeable, worked very quickly, communicated well, and did everything we asked of them. They even have an in-house cleaning service that went above and beyond to leave our space spotless ahead of the final inspection. If we had worked with them from the start, we would have saved ourselves a lot of time, money, and headache. As it is, I'm happy to recommend them to anyone needing help with home renovation tasks.
It depends on the size of the space, the type of cleaning and how often you need it. A regular clean costs less than a deep clean or a move out clean. Contact us with a few details and we will give you a clear price.
That is up to you. Many people like it every week or every two weeks. Others book once a month or just once. We will suggest a schedule after hearing about your space.
